Medical Transcription is 108 hours, including many hours of authentic dictation consisting of letters, progress notes, pathology reports, history and physical reports, discharge summaries, consultations, and operative reports. These work types are dictated in various dialects covering all medical specialties.
Class meets 4 hours once a week for 27 weeks.
Estimated homework time = 12 hours per week the first 12 weeks & 24-30 hours per week the last 15 weeks.
