A&H Training Corp. has become the most respected medical transcription, medical coding and medical billing training provider in our local community of the Capital District and throughout the United States.  The collaboration of two successful companies, each leaders in the field, has allowed A&H to achieve this successful union.

Robin Andrews and Kathleen Holbrook worked for several years in healthcare and owned separate businesses in the medical transcription industry.  In 2000, they partnered together and opened a medical transcription school with a mission to train students to actually be job ready upon graduation.  Their collective knowledge of the industry as owner of Andrews' Transcribing, the largest medical transcription service in the Capital District, and as a teacher of medical transcription for over 20 years, enabled them to create an education platform that met the training needs of students and the efficiency and productivity needs of local and national employers.

Andrews & Holbrook Training Corp. [A&H] was created to provide all of this and more including additional career-focused coursework in other healthcare fields.

Understanding the industry from both sides has had a positive effect on A&H.  Together, Robin and Kathleen understand the complete process from training to employment and make it a practice to follow their students all the way through.  A&H grew out of an increasing industry demand for qualified medical transcriptionists.   Kathleen felt the need first hand as the waiting list for her teaching program grew to 100+ students.  She knew she could not train all of these potential students alone.  Kathleen then approached Robin with the idea of opening a medical transcription career-focused school.

A&H went through a rigorous approval process with the New York State Education Department.  In 2000, A&H received license approval and opened their school to include not only Medical Transcription, but also Billing and Coding [both hospital and physician based], and Non-Medical Transcription courses.  Since its inception, A&H has trained thousands of students and placed them in quality positions in a variety of healthcare fields, both inside and outside of the home.
